The perfect opening day along one of the most spectacular coastal roads in the Mediterranean. Ride along Pollensa Bay to the famous climb, then wind through pine forests to the Mirador de la Creueta — the panoramic viewpoint over the dramatic Es Colomer rock formation.
Continue past Playa de Formentor beach to the lighthouse at the island's northern tip. Start early — tourist buses arrive after 10:00!
THE classic Mallorca ride and your queen stage! Via the Coll de sa Batalla and Lluc monastery, descend the legendary Coll dels Reis to Sa Calobra — 26 hairpin bends including the famous 360° knot where the road loops under itself.
At the bottom, walk to the Torrent de Pareis gorge where towering cliffs meet the sea. Refuel before the hard part: 9.5 km back up with gradients to 12%.
Active recovery after the queen stage. Head along the coast via Alcúdia and the La Victoria peninsula to Can Picafort — grab a croissant at Allà Darrere on the beachfront.
Then turn inland through the Pla de Mallorca, the island's rural heartland — quiet lanes through almond fields, windmills and stone-walled farms. Pass through Sineu, home of the island's velodrome.
Your longest stage at 149 km deep into the Serra de Tramuntana. Via Inca and the Coll de Sóller (872 m) to Port de Sóller — one of the most charming harbour towns on the island.
The return takes you over the Orient pass and through the magical Biniaraix valley — ancient stone paths, century-old olive groves and oak forests. Stop at Sa Fàbrica de Gelats for the legendary Sóller orange ice cream.
A grand finale exploring Mallorca's wild east coast! Fast rolling roads via Alcúdia and Can Picafort lead to the historic hill town of Artà — stop at Café Parisien for pastries with fortress views.
Continue to Capdepera castle and stunning Cala Mesquida where on clear days you can see Menorca. Punchy climbs in the Llevant hills, but nothing brutal — the perfect way to close out the week.
